Macromedia Authorware was used to create this training package, simulating a financial application for The National Bank of New Zealand.

I was solely responsible for the look and feel of the training package, including its graphics, scripting and coding.

The project required implementation in the 16 colour VGA palette, creating a distinct aesthetic challenge. The solution involved using dither patterns to create 50% halftones of the VGA colours, softening the palette, and creating a distinction between the 'shades-o-grey' application being demonstrated, and the pastel CBT elements. I also used the dither patterns with transparent effects, so that overlapping elements of the interface would create new shades.

The final package incorporates over 500 screens, animations, case studies and fully interactive simulations of the software package being demonstrated. Final delivery, on floppy disk, was just 1.2 megabytes uncompressed.
