realquick realty kiosk

I created the interface for a network of kiosks, intended to sell real estate. The kiosks incorporate laser printer, telephony, digital video and touchscreen technology.

The sophistication of the kiosks' PowerMac architecture allowed the use of 16 bit graphics, CD quality sound and QuickTime video. The design look is layered, polished and architectural. The interface is simple, direct and is assisted by vocal cues.

I designed the look and feel of the interface, and directed the audio and animation elements. I created the majority of the design as multilayered Photoshop documents, then cropped them into individual interface elements for the coding team. I recorded the vocal elements, directing voice talent as necessary. I then built a full interactive prototype in Macromedia Director, incorporating QuickTime and sound. Final work involved a number of designs for the physical kiosk.
