macintoshMacintoshes aren't really toys - more objects of fervent worship. I realised I was a potential Mac-cult member when I won a $30,000 Silicon Graphics workstation in a competition, and never quite got around to using it... Actually, I'm not as bad as some people I know, but I do make it my business to know what's going on with all things Macinlike. Here are a couple of places I go every day; these are enough to make sure you're as informed as any Macintosh user need be.: There's just so much to love about the Mac at the moment: ultra fast processors from the PowerPC cabal, as well as Exponential; the new 2400 powerbook; the next release of QuickTime; drag and drop; easter eggs... Oh - and QuickTime VR. Gordon pointed me towards an amazing little piece of software called Nodester which does almost everything the big ole QuickTime VR Developer Tools package does in terms of panorama creation. Only you don't need 40Mb or free ram. Or $750. A lovely piece of software...
I suppose it's time for me to upgrade my aching old 8500/120. Those Power Computing
PowerCenter Pros have been
giving me the look of love recently. Go on. You know you want to.
